VoucherVortex is a deals and price comparison platform for the Romanian market. It pulls live product and voucher feeds from several affiliate networks, works out when different stores are selling the same product, and merges those into one comparable listing. A CMS admin lets non-technical staff run the whole catalog without touching code.
What it does
- Feed ingestion that normalizes inconsistent data from several affiliate networks and direct brand partnerships into one schema, with automated syncing and safeguards so stale or expired offers never reach a shopper.
- AI-assisted product matching that recognizes the same product listed under different titles and photos, plus category tagging, attribute extraction and Romanian product descriptions at catalog scale, with cost tracking to keep it sustainable.
- Full-text, faceted search on Meilisearch across products, deals, coupons, stores, brands and categories, kept continuously in sync with the database.
- Accounts with email or Google sign-in, favorites, and price-drop and availability alerts that send real notifications.
- A review system with ratings and moderation that feeds back into product cards and search ranking.
- Stores, feeds, categories and promotional campaigns onboarded from the admin panel without a deploy, with operational alerts pushed to the team.
Performance
The site is server-rendered by default and held to a Core Web Vitals budget: bundle-size passes, responsive image tuning and caching took mobile Lighthouse scores from the high 60s toward 90 and above.
Status
Live in production since July 2026. I designed the schema, built the AI pipelines, the affiliate integrations and the admin tooling, and I run it day to day.
